Antonio Marín, VOX spokesperson in Manilva, made a statement this morning at the door of the Town Hall on the irregularities in the Town Hall’s financial management. In his address, Marín pointed to the seriousness of the situation, reporting that the municipal comptroller has lodged 21 objections, 16 of which are classed as very serious, and warned of the possible legal consequences of the decisions taken by the PP and Izquierda Unida governing team.
Statements by Antonio Marín:
“Political spending has been increased by more than €200,000 for councillors’ salaries and deputy mayoral posts, in a municipality with a debt of more than €18 million.”
“VOX will not support any budget or extrajudicial recognition of credits until an external audit is carried out to clarify the current and past management of the Town Hall.”
