The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, and the Environment department councillor, Noelia Muñoz, have visited the Hospital de Referencia «La Equina» to meet its director, Miguel Valdés, and see the facilities.
As well as offering the administration’s support, the mayor congratulated its professionals, as this is an equine hospital of worldwide reference.
The Town Hall’s willingness to help and the provision of the Civima will make it possible for Manilva to host the «Jaque Mate» project, considered the largest continuing training programme on the equine locomotor system in Latin America.
This extraordinary news, besides putting our town in the international spotlight, will mean welcoming dozens of professionals in the field, who will stay overnight and enjoy the municipality during the training days.
