The Foreign Residents department of our town, headed by acting councillor Laura López, together with the association Be Yourself, has everything ready for the Manilva Pride celebration, which begins today, Friday, and runs until next Sunday the 11th, with a wide range of activities and performances.
Today, Friday 9 June, the programme will take place in the car park opposite the taxi rank at Puerto de la Duquesa, from 20:00 until 02:00.
As usual, a great atmosphere is expected, with major performances on stage.
On Saturday the event starts in the plaza de los Naranjos in Sabinillas, with music from 15:00. From this point, the protest parade that is the purpose of the event will set off, which is once again to call for equal opportunities regardless of each person’s gender, and will arrive at the La Colonia infantil area.
Performances will again take place that day on the stage at Puerto Duquesa.
Finally, on Sunday, performances will follow one another on stage from 17:00 to 23:00. This year, those expected to join us include Gary Goodmaze, Ultimate Cher, Voice & Violin, DJ Jonny Howard, Ultimate Kylie, Dj Plata, Glow Sister, DJ Diego Delgado, Ariana Grande Experience, Patricia Rowe, Miguel Fernéndez, Mandi, Vanesa Klein, Lumia Vogue and Niguel Passey, among other artists.
