The Manilva Town Hall has added a new temporary civil servant to the municipal workforce in order to reinforce public services. The mayor, Mario Jiménez, welcomed the professional at the municipal offices, according to the Town Hall.
The new technician, who belongs to group A2, will deal with various matters relating to the Environment and Parks and Gardens departments, among other duties. She joins after meeting the requirements set out in the municipal job pool for temporary technical civil servants with the relevant qualifications.
The Town Hall says that this appointment makes it possible to complete the municipal workforce and strengthen the resources available to improve services to residents.
Municipal parks, one of the main outstanding challenges
The arrival of this professional comes at a time when the municipality’s parks and gardens have a significant amount of improvement work ahead of them. Complaints and numerous grievances raised by residents and users have highlighted the neglected state and poor condition of some of these green areas.
The maintenance of public spaces, the upkeep of facilities and the attention to the shortcomings that have been pointed out are some of the issues causing concern among users, particularly in those spaces intended for families and young children to enjoy.
The arrival of a new technician could help to strengthen the management and monitoring of these areas, although residents hope that this improvement in municipal resources will also quickly translate into specific, visible action on the ground.
