Manilva bets on LGBTI+ tourism at Fitur

-

Manilva Town Hall, through its Tourism councillor Dean Shelton, has announced its intention to continue promoting inclusive tourism in the town following the success of Manilva Pride 2024. According to Dean, this event brought together around 5,000 people, demonstrating the town’s potential to attract a diverse audience and generate a positive impact on the local economy.

With the aim of expanding and diversifying the tourism offer beyond sun and beach, the Town Hall will present a publicity campaign and a programme of activities focused on LGBTI+ tourism at the next edition of FITUR, which begins this Wednesday. This initiative seeks to position Manilva as a welcoming tourist destination that respects diversity, promoting values such as tolerance and acceptance.

In addition to the economic benefits, the Town Hall highlights the social impact of this type of event, which helps to create a more open and tolerant community.

With this initiative, Manilva seeks to establish itself as a constantly evolving tourist destination, committed to a model of sustainable and responsible tourism, capable of generating value for both visitors and the local population.
