The Commerce department, an area headed by Francisco Becerra, today presented a cheque for 2,000 euros to the Association for people with disabilities, older people and child development, Luisana.
This sum, made possible by the Town Hall’s removal of the public highway fee, was made available thanks to the Malik traders’ association, who made this gesture of solidarity.
The mayor, Mario Jiménez, who attended the event, agreed with Becerra in highlighting the possibilities that open up for helping older people and children by having more financial resources.
Also present at the meeting were Ana Santos, president of Luisana, and her team, the Social Affairs councillor, Paqui López, the head of the department, Pilar Zúñiga, and councillors Eva Galindo and Marcos Ruiz.
