The Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities of the Junta de Andalucía has released figures on the number of businesses registered with Social Security in our town in June, showing an increase of 20 new businesses compared with the previous month, bringing the number of businesses in Manilva to 566.
By sector, the services sector, driven by the start of the high season in our town, saw the largest increase, with 18 more businesses. Two new businesses appeared in the construction sector, and the figures remained unchanged in the other sectors.
The Employment Promotion department of Manilva Town Hall, headed by Marcos Ruiz, launched a web platform that gives local businesses an ideal tool, which is working quite well, for posting job offers or finding potential candidates, who can also register on the application to publish their CV.
