Manilva Town Hall has announced a new call for applications to create a job pool for the temporary hiring of an activities instructor (various activities), with the aim of reinforcing municipal services, particularly in the social sector.
According to the official announcement, the selection process will be carried out by means of a competitive examination (concurso-oposición) and will make it possible to meet urgent needs of the council, particularly in areas linked to Social Services. Although the announcement is dated 24 February 2026, it was not made public in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Málaga (the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga) until today.
Duties of the post
The person selected will carry out tasks such as supporting the transport of elderly or disabled people, assisting the Food Bank and organising products, among other duties related to the professional category.
The contract will be full-time and temporary, linked to the process of permanently filling the post, with an estimated maximum duration of up to three years.
Requirements and selection process
To apply for this job pool, candidates must hold, as a minimum, the Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) certificate (compulsory secondary education) or equivalent, and meet the general requirements for access to public employment.
The selection process will mainly assess professional experience in similar posts, additional training and an oral test related to the duties of the post.
Application period
The deadline for submitting applications will be ten working days starting tomorrow, the day after the announcement is published in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Málaga.
Applications may be submitted in person at the Town Hall, through the municipal electronic office, or by other means permitted by current regulations.
Participation fee
Taking part in the selection process requires payment of a fee of 25 euros, with a 50% reduction available for large families.
Job pool
The pool will be made up of the admitted candidates, ranked according to their score, and will be used to cover future needs of the service by calling candidates in the established order.
