Francisco Becerra, councillor for Parks and Gardens, tours the municipality daily to check the condition of the green areas «as the best way of knowing in detail what can be improved».
On this occasion, after visiting a number of parks, he went to El Goleto to see the result of the new pergola in the picnic area, «which provides shade so that families can enjoy this spot, now that temperatures are rising».
The councillor, who also manages the Agriculture department, said that the construction of public toilets is planned through the PFEA (Agricultural Employment Promotion Programme).
Finally, he highlighted the complete remodelling of La Colonia park, as it is a place that suffers a great deal from being so close to the sea and the materials needed to be replaced.
