A formal ceremony was held on Sabinillas beach to celebrate the raising of the Blue Flag, an award that recognises the quality of beaches and the responsible environmental management carried out on them. The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, the Beaches councillor, Gema Zotano, and councillors Agustín Vargas, Fina Gómez and Juan Carlos Morejón attended the event, accompanied by beach workers, technicians and municipal staff in charge of the beach plan, covering cleaning and maintenance as well as lifeguard services.
It is worth noting that Sabinillas beach has received this award for the second year running, which is a seal of quality for this location and endorses the good work carried out by Manilva Town Hall in general and by the Beaches department in particular.
We draw attention to the lack of information provided to this outlet. Despite the importance of this event for the town, we regret that we were not informed about the formal ceremony for the raising of the Blue Flag. We would have liked to cover this occasion and offer our followers the complete and detailed information they deserve.
We urge Manilva Town Hall to send us invitations to this type of event in future, as they are of great interest to the municipality and form part of our commitment to reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
Congratulations to Manilva and to Sabinillas beach on this new recognition of their quality and commitment to the environment and to the quality of the services provided.
