Work began this weekend on the Los Baños road, along the section between the Sabinillas town centre and the fairground, where free sports facilities are being prepared and will soon be available to enjoy.
The aim is to make the stretch of roughly one kilometre safe for all users, given that this road will see increasing traffic.
The councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, visited the road to explain the improvements being carried out, which will soon ensure it is ready to avoid any kind of problem. According to the councillor, the work is necessary because many residents use the road, hence the importance of this resurfacing.
Although the road is not closed to traffic, users are advised to avoid it during these days wherever possible.
