The Sports and Trade departments of Manilva Town Hall, through the Asociación Ambulantes y artesanos del Campo de Gibraltar and Atracciones Jiménez, this week handed over financial assistance to the municipality’s sports clubs to help them meet the costs of the current season.
This way of supporting our clubs was arranged by the departments mentioned as a form of financial compensation, as the Town Hall has not charged these traders fees in exchange for this contribution to the municipality’s sports organisations.
The event took place in the council chamber and was attended by representatives of Manilva’s clubs and the traders’ associations, as well as the councillors for the areas concerned, Manolo Gil and Francisco Becerra.
The contribution has been very well received by Club Ciclista de Manilva, Club Senderista Los Kruos, Unión Manilva, Sociedad de Cazadores Los Madroñales, Club Deportivo Manilva Basketbase, Peña Malaguista de Manilva, Manilva Fútbol Sala, Club Náutico, Manilva Paddle Surf, CD Grucam, CD San Luis, CD Casama, CD Raqueta Manilva, Manilva Fight School, CD Senderos y rutas de Manilva and Gladius Team Manilva.
Separately, the Sports department and Club Senderista Los Kruos de Manilva have handed over to the association Bandera Rosa the donations collected at the latest night trail run organised in the town. On this occasion, Fernando Jesús Serrano and Manolo Gil presented the funds to Estefanía Sánchez, on behalf of this charity that fights breast cancer.
