Friday 30 August
Vendimia Flamenco Festival
Organised by: Peña Flamenca de Manilva and the Culture department.
Time: 22:00
Venue: Colegio Pablo Picasso de Manilva
Tickets: free for members of the peña, €15 for non-members
Artists: Daniela Ramos; singing by Samuel Serrano and guitar by Paco León. Also the voice of Esmeralda Rancapino; Antonio Gómez ‘El Turry’, accompanied by the guitar of Álvaro Moreno; Luis Ortega together with Juan Anguita, and dancing by Luisa Chicano.

Saturday 31 August
Vendimia
19:30 Holy Mass in honour of Ntra. Sra. de los Dolores, sung by the “Coro de la Escuela Municipal de Música”, at the Iglesia Santa Ana.
After Mass, the image will be taken in procession to calle Mar, where the
grape offering will take place, accompanied by the “Banda Municipal de Música”.
Immediately afterwards, as every year, the competition for the heaviest bunch of grapes will be held on the same calle Mar in Manilva.
22:30 Music and dancing on calle Mar, with the groups “Latidos” and “A compás”.
In the Plaza de la Vendimia, DJs “Turbo” and “Pájaro” will be playing the best current hits all night.

Sunday 1 September
Sunday flea market at the fairground
Crafts, second-hand goods, antiques… from 7:30 until 15:00 (ample parking)
Vendimia programme
13:00 Opening of the daytime fair on calle Mar.
13:30 Parade of horse riders along calle Mar, with the collaboration of the “Peña Caballista de Manilva”.
14:00 From this time, there will be music and dancing along the whole street, with the groups “A Compás Musical”, “Latidos” and “Compás Flamenco”.
These groups will play non-stop on the various stages set up along the street.
19:00 In the Plaza de la Vendimia, the traditional grape stomping and tasting of the first wine will take place.
21:30 As the finale to the festival, the group “Rockopop” will perform, a tribute to the most important music of the 80s, 90s and the present day.
