According to a press release, the current general coordinator of the Partido Popular, Elias Bendodo, is visiting our town at midday today to have espetos (grilled sardine skewers) and rice at 13:00 at Bar en la Orilla on the Sabinillas seafront, together with the town’s current mayor, Jose Manuel Fernández.
The last time Bendodo visited Manilva publicly was in April 2022, when he held the post of Minister for the Presidency, Public Administrations and the Interior of the Junta de Andalucía. He met the then mayor, Mario Jiménez, to discuss matters relating to reviving the economy after the standstill caused by the pandemic.
