This Saturday, 26 October, an event called ‘Clean-up of the Manilva river bed’ will take place, organised by the Asociación Subacuática de Casares with the support of Manilva and Casares town halls, as well as Verdemar Ecologistas en Acción.
The activity will run from 10:00 until 13:00 and its main aim is to prevent plastic and other waste from reaching the sea, thereby protecting the environment.
Volunteers who wish to take part can meet at the meeting point, located under the N-340 bridge, on the boundary between the two municipalities. The activity is free and does not require prior registration, so anyone interested in helping to clean and preserve the area is invited to join in.
