Culture councillor Fina Gómez has presented the Carnaval 2024 programme, which will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February in the marquee set up in the plaza de Los Maestros in Sabinillas. The event will feature a range of activities for young and old alike, including a parade of floats, a fancy dress competition and performances by carnival groups.
Gómez has invited all residents and visitors to take part in this popular festival, which is one of the most eagerly awaited of the year. She reminded the public that the rules for the fancy dress competition can be consulted on the Electronic Office (Sede Electrónica) of the municipal website.
The Culture councillor thanked the associations, businesses and groups that make it possible to organise the Carnaval, and highlighted the effort and enthusiasm that participants put into their costumes and floats.
