The Tourism department of Manilva Town Hall, headed by acting councillor Eva Galindo, will manage the rental of boats for moragas (beach barbecues) along the Manilva coastline.
This service is now available. Anyone interested must go in person to the Tourism office, located in the Mikonos building in Puerto de la Duquesa, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 13:00, bringing their DNI (national identity card).
Bookings for use will be accepted until 30 June. Booking dates open a fortnight in advance: the booking period from 15 June to 30 June is for the use of boats from 1 to 15 July; from 1 to 15 July the booking period opens for use of the boats from 15 to 31 July, and so on until 30 September.
The hours of use will be from 20:00 until 1:00, and the applicant will be solely responsible for anything that may happen, whether disturbance of public order, nuisance to neighbours, damage to equipment or littering of the area, with the Town Hall bearing no responsibility whatsoever.
The rental carries with it the commitment to leave the beach in the same condition in which it was found.
There are currently 4 boats, 2 located in the Noria area, another in the Colonia and a final one in Los Granados.
