The Parks and Gardens department, headed by Agustín Vargas, has launched an ambitious plan to improve the green areas of our municipality. One of the projects under way is the transformation of the landscaping at the eastern entrance to Sabinillas (the area around the Super Asia bazaar), with the aim of beautifying the area and helping to save water.
The department has chosen to replace some plants that require a lot of watering with other species that are more resistant to drought. This measure, together with the introduction of more sustainable ornamental features, will significantly reduce water consumption in this area.
