The various political parties are starting to make their moves and prepare their candidacies for the forthcoming municipal elections on 28 May, and Santiago Abascal’s party does not want to be left behind, with the appointment of Antonio José Marín Berjas as the party’s new coordinator for Manilva. A 60-year-old sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry, resident in Marbella and an expert in restructuring sales teams, Berjas will have 5 months to reorganise a working team capable of drawing up a plan for the future that can convince the Manilva electorate.
We recall that in the last municipal elections, the party’s list lost 11 of its members just days before the vote, which left the party severely weakened, although it still won 141 votes.
Antonio José Marín was the one to announce this appointment on his social media with the following message:
«Once again I would like to thank the Provincial Executive Committee of VOX Málaga, as well as Mr Pablo Sáez de Tejada, Coordinator of Zone 2, Costa de Málaga, for the trust they have placed in me by appointing me Coordinator of VOX Manilva.
I would also like to congratulate Ms Daniela Vega on her appointment as Coordinator of VOX Istán, a responsibility that I have been carrying out until now with the same enthusiasm and commitment with which I now take on this new challenge.»
