Manilva Town Hall has begun the procedure for allocating rental with option to buy of the car parking spaces in the municipal building at plaza Pozo del Rey in the Manilva town centre.
For this purpose, there will be a public exhibition, both on the notice board and on the Town Hall’s Electronic Office, for the general knowledge of residents. Residents will be able to apply for these spaces from tomorrow, Tuesday 22 November, for a period of 15 working days.
Both the mayor, Mario Jiménez, and the Fleet Management councillor, Alba Jiménez, consider that this process is very necessary in order to offer the best service to the public, and it will continue to be carried out in other public car parks.
Interested residents may be allocated the public assets at the single price set by the Municipal Technicians, by submitting an application which may be processed at any of the public registries set up for this purpose.
Direct Allocation will be based on Social Criteria, which aims to give gradual preference to people with disabilities, dependent persons, the elderly or those in a situation of disability.
Once the directly allocated spaces have been deducted, the remaining number of available spaces will be provisionally allocated to the applicants with the highest scores, until all the free spaces are filled. In the event of a tie, applicants will be called in order of application date, with older applications taking precedence over more recent ones.
The rental contract will have a duration of ONE YEAR from the date of signing, and will be automatically extended for periods of equal length, unless the successful applicant withdraws in accordance with the provisions of the following paragraph, up to a maximum of five years.
