One of the dismissals made within days of Jose Manuel Fernández taking office as mayor was that of Luis Oliver Roales, a graduate in Law, Philosophy, Political Science and Sociology, and lecturer in Constitutional Law at the UMA and Administrative Law at the UNED, who had held the post of Urban Planning Manager since June 2021, with a monthly salary of €4,617.28.
According to article 9.2 of the statutes of the Urban Planning Management Office of Manilva Town Hall, this post is filled by direct appointment («a dedo») by the mayor under a special senior management contract, as a position of temporary civil servant of trust or special advisory staff.
Following this departure, on 21 August a mayoral decree assigned the duties of Urban Planning Manager to Mr Aitor Menoyo, who will combine this task with that of municipal legal adviser, receiving additional pay up to the amount set for this post.
