This Tuesday 12th, the Acosol General Meeting will be held, and one of the items on the agenda will be the approval of a new remuneration scheme.
This approval will reward the 14 members of the Board of Directors with €500 per meeting, and includes the 7 Partido Popular mayors, among them Jose Manuel Fernández, who barely a month ago was also appointed spokesperson for the government of the Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol.
He will have to combine many supra-municipal responsibilities with his duties as mayor, in order to concentrate on gradually resolving the existing shortcomings in the municipality, mainly relating to healthcare, transport, infrastructure, public safety…
For the moment, everything suggests that these commitments and institutional relationships will help to secure new investment and funding for Manilva.
