Access routes to Princesa Kristina and Hacienda Guadalupe cleared of overgrowth

-

In recent days, the Parks and Gardens department, headed by Agustín Vargas, carried out a clearance operation on the verges of the A-7 motorway, as well as on the approaches to the pedestrian bridges in the Hacienda Guadalupe and Princesa Kristina area.

The main purpose of this work was to remove the undergrowth that was blocking access to pavements, verges, pedestrian bridges and bus stops. This uncontrolled vegetation had drastically reduced visibility of the streets and of many traffic signs, adding significant risks to road safety.

Councillor Agustín Vargas stressed that one of the key aims of this initiative is to create a safer environment for children who go to school and use public transport every day.

In addition to these actions, the Town Hall is waiting for the arrival of the glass panels that will be installed in the bus shelters in the area, which will further improve the comfort and protection of public transport users.
