The San Silvestre Solidaria Villa de Manilva reaches its sixth edition. Once again, residents and visitors of all ages will have the chance to take part in this sporting, non-competitive event, which has become a tradition in our municipality.
Organised by the Sports department, with the collaboration of the hiking club Club Senderista Los Kruos de Manilva, on 31 December from 12:00 the participants will create a magnificent Christmas atmosphere on calle Mar, where the start and finish of the event will be located.
The route will cover 2.2 kilometres through the streets of the centre of Manilva.
To register and collect their race number, as usual, participants must hand in 1 kg of non-perishable food per person at the Sports office, such as milk, juice, sugar, tinned goods, flour, oil or baby food, from 27 to 30 of this month, and also on 31 December from 10:00 on calle Mar, outside the Town Hall.
Once the route has finished, a prize draw will be held among all the participants, using their race numbers.
From the Sports department, councillor Manolo Gil encourages the public to enjoy this lovely, charitable experience dressed in Christmas costumes and accessories to see out the year 2022.
